One more month, and one more worldly quilt block!
This month we were off to Switzerland, and the pattern is called Alpine Cross. If you look close at the dark and light fabrics, they have little chocolate kisses and bonbons on them.. perfect time for it, no?
I finished this block this afternoon, and after I had it all sewn up I realized how apropos it is… I gave up sugar for Lent, which included chocolate, so it wasn’t until today that I finally had chocolate again. And now I have a chocolate quilt block to match!
